On November 7, 2024, Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown led a delegation of representatives from the Auckland City Government and the New Zealand China Chamber of Commerce on a visit to Ningbo, their sister city, where they toured and engaged in discussions with Ningshing?Ubay.
During the visit, Ubay New Zealand CEO Mike Arand provided an overview of Ningshing?Ubay’s operations, highlighting key collaborative projects with various New Zealand brands. Both parties also exchanged insights on market expansion opportunities in New Zealand.
The delegation was warmly received by Gao Ping, Vice Chairman of ?Ningshing Holdings, along with senior representatives from Ningshing?Ubay.
Since 2020, Ningshing?Ubay, under the leadership of General Manager Ivy?Shi, has actively explored the New Zealand market, establishing partnerships with well-known brands such as New Zealand?Food Basket, Rockit, Red Seal and TAKU, spanning fresh and frozen foods, health products and more. In 2023, Ningshing?Ubay established an overseas representative office?in New Zealand, appointing?Mike?Arand as??CEO to deepen its market presence and introduce a wider array of premium brands and products to consumers.
This visit not only strengthened the ties between the sister cities of Ningbo and Auckland but also set the stage for Ningshing?Ubay’s future growth and endeavors in the New Zealand market.
